Excellent stand
This stand is made of high quality materials, is easy to assemble and holds the monitor easily. We ordered this for a conference room in a historical building that has a white board where the blackboard used to be, so I couldn't mount the monitor to the wall. I purchased this stand because it was 1) portable, 2) rated for the size monitor we ordered and 3) affordable. This stand nailed it on all three points. The casters roll smoothly on terrazo, carpet and tile, and the front two casters lock in place to keep the monitor from rolling around when accidentally bumped.
The monitor we mounted to it is 55" diagonally and weighs about 65 pounds. This stand handles it without any problems. I was initially concerned that the stand would be unstable with a monitor that size, but because the base is so wide stability isn't a problem.
The shelves are PVC, but they are strong enough to hold a DVD player or laptop, and the support bar across the back is the perfect place to secure...
