It is very well made and doesn't at all feel like one of those cheap DIY pieces of furniture. I finished it and had in in place and working in time for my wife to get home from work, and she fell in love with it. Oh yeah, it tosses out some pretty good warmth into the room. It'll come in handy this winter if we loss power in one of our infamous New England Noreasters.
