I purchased this chair as a gift for my mother and she loves it. I must say after the assembly I was more than impressed myself. This chair is quite a surprise once you get passed the less than thorough assembly instructions. It's not hard at all. Actually it's quite simple once you really look at it but it definitely would be more beneficial for the consumer if the manufacturer included better step by step directions. So after some initial difficulty setting up and a couple of mislabeled parts( left & right chair arms) I was able to get the chair up in about 30-45 mins. Once assembled you will undoubtedly see just how beautiful and solid this chair really is. It's huge, it's heavy and feels quite durable. Other than the a few hiccups I had putting the chair together, I really have no other criticisms.
